Sitting in front of the desk with the computer open, to actually make an effort to write, feels like a little victory on it's own.
We tend to postpone and procrastinate what really matters to us, which is crazy of course, but oh so understandable.
Don't we all carry wishes and dreams within the heart? A wish to be seen for who we truly are? A dream to make a contribution to this world, in a meaningful way?
Yet we end up doing work that just pays the bills, but leaves us feeling empty inside. It's like we know we have so much more to give, but because the butterfly in Brazil didn't flap it's wing in the right time (or whatever the reason might be) we still live our mundane and ordinary life.
I mean, you could be sitting in a palace somewhere in the Middle East, gracefully strolling through your paradise garden, with that same butterfly landing on your palm. Whispering ancient secrets of self-realisation. Or maybe it's a cheeky Instagram butterfly telling you how to make a million dollars in ten days.
How can I make sense about this life?
I don't want to give too much energy to the back side of the coin. I want to focus on what is good. But sometimes it's challenging.
We're daily bombarded with so many things to get upset about in this world. Sometimes I think:

I believe in a holistic view of being a human. I believe we are souls, inhabiting these bodies for a little while, until we get back being pure crystal light beings again.
Was gonna write that our task is just to survive this little moment we're here on earth. But that's just my ego talking in a slightly upset manner. Instead I'm gonna write:
Our task on earth is to breathe. Right now. Inhale. Exhale. Very good :)
Our task is to be a bit more present. A bit more human and humane.
To be authentic.
To make...
